Nepal Life Insurance Company concludes 19th AGM; Shareholders to get 25% bonus shares

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) had convened its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Jestha 04, 2076 (Saturday) at Birjung. The AGM has approved 25% bonus shares to shareholders worth Rs 23.50 per share inclusive of taxes. After the adjustment of bonus shares, the company's paid-up capital will stands at Rs 5 arba 49 crore 96 lakh 16 thousand.

The AGM was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. Govinda Lal Sanghai, who highlighted that the company's total income from insurance premium was around 32% of the total market share.

The AGM approved the BOD's annual report for FY 2074/75, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement and company's prospectus.

Currently, the company's investment stands at Rs 67 arba with Life insurance fund of Rs 59 arba and shareholders' reserve of above Rs 10.40 arba. Similalry, NLIC is providing services to more than 1.22 lakh insurance holders through a network of 177 branches all over the country.
