Nepal insurance Company reports net profit of Rs 18.05 crores, Net premium at Rs 58.19 crores

Nepal Insurance Company (NICL) has posted an outstanding rise in net profit by 51.93% in the fourth quarter of the FY 2075/76.

As per the unaudited report for the fourth quarter, the non-life insurance company reported net profit of Rs 18.05 crore in Q4 of fiscal year 2075/76, up from Rs 11.88 crore of the corresponding fiscal year.

The company’s earnings from premium (net) increased to Rs 58.19 crore in Q4 from Rs 44.78 crore in the corresponding quarter. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs 1.01 arba.

The reserve fund of the company has also increased to Rs 36.94 crore from the corresponding year’s Rs 24.22 crore. The company’s insurance fund has also increased to Rs 28.55 crore from Rs 19.52 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

It’s EPS stands at Rs 17.72 while its net worth per share of the company amounts to Rs 164.27. Its PE ratio stands at 17.49 times.
