Nepal Insurance Company (NICL) Proposes 11.5789% Dividend for FY 2077/78

Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has proposed an 11.5789% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.

The meeting of the board of directors held on Chaitra 07 has proposed an 11% bonus shares and 0.5789% cash dividend from the paid-up capital for the fiscal year 2077/78. The dividend will be distributed from the paid-up capital of Rs. 1,24,23,38,564. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 13.66 crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 71.92 lakhs. The cash dividend has been proposed as a tax amount on the bonus shares.

Note that the dividend will only be distributed after approval by Beema Samiti and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.

As of writing, the LTP of the company stands at Rs. 846.
