Nepal Insurance Company earns Rs 8.74 crore till Q2 2076/77;Net premium of Rs 32.19 crore collected

Nepal Insurance Company (NICL) has posted a rise in net profit by 19.41% in the second quarter of the FY 2076/77.

As per the unaudited report for the second quarter, the non-life insurance company reported net profit of Rs.8.74 Crore, up from Rs.7.32 Crore of the corresponding fiscal year.

The company’s earnings from premium (net) increased to Rs.32.19 Crore in Q2 from Rs.24.01 Crore in the corresponding quarter. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs.1.09 Arba.

The reserve fund of the company has also increased to Rs.32.25 Crore from the corresponding year’s Rs.27.36 Crore. The company’s insurance fund has also increased to Rs.34.13 Crore from Rs.23.14 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Its annualized EPS stands at Rs.15.93 while its net worth per share amounts to Rs.160.60. Its PE ratio stands at 22.17 times.
