Nepal Housing for acquisition, special general meeting today

Nepal Housing & Merchant Finance Limited is holding its special general meeting today to endorse a special proposal to mandate its Board of Directors to do all the needful for its acquisition.
 
The special general meeting is being held at Hotel Shankar at Lazimpat in Kathmandu.

Last July Nepal Housing, which has not been able to make good profit over the months, had mandated its BoD to seek merger with other BFIs.

Following which it was holding negotiations with Prabhu Bikas Bank for possible merger, which eventually did not make much headway, compelling the finance company to seek acquisition.
