Nepal Doorsanchar reports decline in Net profit in Q3; Look at the major highlight of this quarter

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC)- Nepal Telecom has published the unaudited quarterly report for the third quarter of FY 2077/78 today. The net profit of the company decreased from Rs 7.56 arba to Rs 5.89 arba in the third quarter with a fall of 22.14%.

The paid-up capital of the company remains unchanged at Rs 15 arba. The reserves of the company grew to Rs 82.96 arba for the end of the third quarter. The investments of the company, which were previously at Rs 56.18 arba, grew to stand at Rs 61.86 arba for the quarter-end. (The investment figure includes both long-term and short-term investment).

The EPS of the company currently stands at Rs 52.36, which has declined from Rs 67.25 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The net-worth per share stands at massive Rs 653.12 and quarter-end PE stands at 25.27 times.

The government of Nepal is the major promoter of NTC and holds 91.52% shares while the remaining 8.48% of shareholders are the general public.
