Nepal Chamber of Commerce raises red flag towards growth projection as imagined by federal budget 2080

Nepal Chamber of Commerce has claimed that the 6% GDP growth rate as projected by the Federal Budget 2080-81 can be a daunting task provided that there’s a very little resources available with the government to implement the fiscal policy.

Issuing a media statement, the chamber has raised questions on the government’s ability to raise Rs 12.48 kharba revenue for meeting the budgetary requirements while has also pointed out the regular failures of the previous governments to fully utilize the budget within the stipulated time. Likewise, the chamber has also criticized the government for not being able to address the current dire economic situation with the federal budget,  as per the media statement.
