Nepal Bankers Association to support Financial Institutions

Kathmandu, June 14 :
Nepal Bankers Association on Monday said they could help B and C class institutions facing acute liquidity crunch by providing them inter-banking lending against whatever securities they have. “We agreed to help them with inter-bank loans against securities of good loans and other securities,” said Ashoke Rana, president of Nepal Bankers’ Association. Meanwhile, Nepal Rastra Bank provided refinancing to three financial institutions on Monday under the special refinancing measure.
