Nepal Bank is turning 85 years old on Kartik 30 as the oldest bank of the nation gears up to celebrate its anniversary.

The first-ever bank of the nation was set up with40% government stake and 60% public share while the share structure has now been revised to 51% government holding and 49% holding by the public shareholder. As of Aswin, its paid-up value stands at Rs 12.64  arba.

The bank with its attractive indicators has started to distribute dividends to its shareholders only since the last fiscal year after the tumultuous last two decades which has largely increased the interest of the investors towards the bank’s stocks in recent time, as per the media statement.
