Nepal Bank sees more than 700 new customers on first day of launching Sambriddhi Nepal Aviyan saving product; bank to provide Rs 100 as joining balance and 5.25% interest for the deposits
Nepal Bank has reported that more than 700 individuals opened its newly launched “Sambriddhi Nepal Aviyan” Saving Account as a result of its massive campaigning and keeping its 70 branches open on the first day of new year 2076.
The customers can open their bank accounts from all 161 branches of the bank for which the bank will provide the opening balance of Rs 100 and provide the annual interest of 5.25% including free ATM, mobile and internet banking, ABBS and other facilities, as per the media statement.
In addition, the bank also hosted a stall at City Hall where the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had launched the banking access initiative for the beginning of the new year 2076. The event was also attended by Acting CEO of the bank Mr. Krishna Bahadur Adhikari, Deputy CEO Mr. Prakash Kumar Adhikari, Press Coordinator Mr. Mukunda Aryal among others.
