Nepal Bank now 82 years better! Completes its glorious anniversary with range of activities

Nepal Bank has completed its 82 glorious years of operation and celebrated its anniversary with fanfare. The celebration event was also attended by Finance Minister Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada who amid the same program remotely inaugurated 20 branches and counters of the bank along with its newly opened museum at its head office.

FM Khatiwada also awarded the best performing branches of the bank, felicitated employees for their exemplary performance and for outperforming others in sports activities.

The event was also attended by Acting Governor of NRB Mr. Chintamani Sivakoti, chairman of the bank Mr. Bashudev Adhikari, CEO Mr. Krishna Bahadur Adhikari, Acting DY CEO Ms. Samata Pant, Acting Assistant CEO Mr. Prakash Kumar Adhikari, Director Mr. Aswin Pudasaini, chairman of Nepal Bank Employee Union Mr. Rajaram Mulkarmi, chairman of Nepal Rastriya Employee Association Mr. Gobinda Prasad Subedi, among others.

The bank under its CSR initiative, has handed over Rs 3 lakh to Manav Kalyan Samaj, Bhaktapur. The support amount was handed over by Province 3 head of the bank Mr. Sunder Panthi to secretary of the organization Ms. Sunita Chaulagain. Likewise, the bank also conducted an interaction event with economist and former NPC head Dr. Swornim Wagle, conducted free health checkup camp for 319 community members, conducted blood donation event with 91 donors, all under its social responsibility program to celebrate its 82^nd anniversary.
