Nepal Bank makes generous contribution of Rs 50 lakh to earthquake survivors of Jajarkot and Rukum

Nepal Bank Limited has extended its helping hand to the earthquake victims of Jajarkot Khalanga and Musikot, West Rukum under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The Bank has provided cash support equivalent to Rs 50 lakh to the PM Disaster Relief and Rescue National Fund.

Chairman of the bank Dr. Chandra Bahadur Adhikari handed over the support amount to PM of Nepal Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal amid a program, as per the media statement.

The 6.4 Richter scale earthquake that jolted Jajarkot on 11:47 PM Friday November 03, 2023 has severely affected Jajarkot Khalanga and Musikot, Rukum West. More than hundreds have lost their lives and thousands of houses have been fully and partially damaged.
