Nepal Bank Limited Celebrates 89th Anniversary with Awards and Recognition

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL), the country’s first bank, celebrated its 89th anniversary with a grand ceremony at its head office. Chaired by the bank’s Board Chair Prof. Dr. Dilliraj Sharma, the event honored employees with long-term service awards, recognized security staff for their dedication, and awarded 12 branches for outstanding performance.

With 231 branches, 237 ATMs, and 61 extension counters, NBL serves around 2.7 million customers, including 1 million using digital banking. The bank emphasized modern, efficient, and youth-driven services, and the chair encouraged employees to continue working with integrity and high morale while assuring management of the board’s support.
