Nepal Bank leads consortium of 9 different institutions to fund biggest private sector hydro project; consortium to provide fund of Rs 19.65 arba for 160 MW Lapchi Khola project

Nepal Bank, as a consordium head of 9 different bank of the nation, has completed a Supplimentary Syndicated credit facilities agreement for investment worth Rs 19.65 arba for the construction of 160 MW Lapchi Khola Hydro project.

The biggest private sector hydro power of the nation is being built by the renown corporate group MV Duggad Group and will have an investment of Rs 26.20 arba.

The financial closure agreement was signed between Chairman of Nasa Hydropower Company Mr. Motilal Duggad and CEO of Nepal Bank the consordium head Mr. Krishna Bahadur Adhikari amid a program on Poush 6, 2077.

Per the agreement, Nepal Bank will invest Rs 5 arba, Rs 3.50 arba by Nepal Investment Bank,R s 2 arba by EPF, Rs 2 arba by Rastriya Banijaya Bank, Rs 2 arba by Himalayan Bank, Rs 1.88 arba by Laxmi Bank, Rs 1 arba each by Nepal SBI Bank, Bank of Kathmandu and Agriculture Development Bank.
