Nepal Bank gets new board member, 3 from Government and 2 from Public

Recently held special general meeting of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has elected the full-fledged board member including 3 representatives from Government of Nepal and 2 representatives from Public.

The board is headed by Chairman Mr. Madhusudan Pokheral (Joint Secretary – Finance Ministry) and other government representatives include Mr. Janardan Sharma and Dr. Dambar Bahadur Bhandari.

Mr. Nischal Pradhan and Mr. Surendra Bahadur Pradhan are the two other representatives from public shareholders group.

Earlier, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) left the control over management of Nepal Bank Limited and handed over management to the banks shareholders.
