Nepal Bangladesh Bank offers 10% bonus shares, 12% cash dividend

Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd (NBB) has announced 22 percent dividend to its shareholders.

According to the disclosure of Nepse, the NBB is offering 10 percent bonus shares and 12 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

The proposed dividend of the bank is, however, subject to the approval of NRB and its upcoming AGM.

According to the fourth quarterly unaudited financial statement published by the bank recently, the net profit of has reached Rs 76.21 crore, up by only Rs  35 lakh as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year 2069/70.

The bank had provided 17.79 percent dividends, including 10 percent bonus share to the shareholders, in the previous year.
