Nepal Bangladesh Bank initiates QR code-based payment at Chandravinayak Park of Chabahil; shoppers can now make direct payment for their purchases via bank’s MoBanking service

Nepal Bangladesh Bank has initiated QR code based payment system at fruit, vegetable and clothing stores in Chandravinayak Park Management Samaj at Chabahil where people can now simply scan the QR code of the bank using their MoBanking service to pay for their  purchases.

After  the new arrangement, people purchasing their groceries and clothing items at the market place can make digital payment by scanning the QR codes of the bank, as per the media statement.

The QR code based payment service was inaugurated by Deputy Governor of NRB Mr. Chintamani Siwakoti and CEO of the bank Mr. Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana amid a program on Falgun 7, 2077, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its services to its customers via its 99 branches, 82 ATM outlets and 7 extension counters.
