Nepal and Sri Lanka Forge Strategic Alliance to Boost SMEs and Digital Cooperation

The Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and the Sri Lankan Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises have signed a strategic partnership agreement to promote SMEs and enhance trade and investment between the two countries.

Facilitated by the Nepali Embassy in Sri Lanka, the agreement focuses on bilateral cooperation in trade, capacity building, policy sharing, organizing SME exhibitions, and technology transfer.

Additionally, a Nepal-Sri Lanka ICT Alliance has been initiated to accelerate digital transformation, promote startup collaboration, mutual IT certification, talent exchange, and cybersecurity cooperation. This initiative aims to establish both countries as regional digital hubs.
