Nepal and Armenia Chambers of Commerce Forge Economic Partnership
The Nepal Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia have signed an agreement to cooperate in the economic sector and information technology. Pankaj Jalan, an executive member of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, and Andranik Aleksanyan, the executive director of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce, signed the agreement.
The cooperation covers various areas, including trade facilitation, expanding economic and technical relations, finding domestic and third markets for joint investment products, and investing in Nepal's agriculture and tourism sectors. Both chambers have also agreed to facilitate business visits between representatives of industry and commerce sectors in Nepal and Armenia.
They have agreed to exchange research in the fields of foreign trade and industrial production. The agreement has immediate implementation, marking a significant step in the economic and commercial relationship between Nepal and Armenia, which established diplomatic relations in March 1993.
