Nepal Agro Laghubitta posts astounding growth by the end of the fourth quarter; net profits increase by more than 600%

Nepal Agro Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NAGRO) has published an unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter today. It has stated that net profit has been increased by 606% to Rs 1.57 crore till the end of FY 2075/76, from Rs 22.35 Lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The microfinance company has borrowings of Rs 44.74 crore. Likewise, it has extended loans of Rs 62.40 crore up from Rs 32.81 crore of the corresponding quarter. The collection of deposits reached Rs 18.94 crore till the end of Q4.

The company has recently floated 1.61 lakh units IPO shares, after which its paid up capital reached Rs 4.97 crores with a reserve of Rs 1.73 crore till Q4.

NAGRO’s net interest income has increased from Rs 2.01 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75 to Rs 3.62 crore till fourth quarter of the FY 2075/76.

Its non-performing loan (NPL) has increased to 0.90% till Q4 from 0.26% in last year’s corresponding period. Currently, EPS stands at Rs 37.86 and Net worth per share stands at Rs 134.87. The company PE is at 12.36 times.
