NCHL Partners with XUNO to Advance Cross-Border Payment Solutions
Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) has introduced XUNO cross-border Request to Pay (R2PX) within the connectIPS platform, enabling seamless payment requests and receipts between Nepal and the US.
This integration marks the first instance of a clearing house directly incorporating a cross-border payment module into the national payment infrastructure, linking Nepali banks to XUNO's network in the USA.
This feature allows beneficiaries in Nepal to request payments from payers in the USA and receive real-time remittances in their Nepali bank accounts via the connect IPS platform, a significant advancement in cross-border remittances.
Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, CEO of NCHL, emphasized the significant potential of the partnership between NCHL and XUNO to eliminate obstacles in cross-border payments and encourage greater global economic engagement. XUNO's R2PX technology enables instant connections between banks, streamlining payment processes and enhancing compliance, cost-effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and security.
NCHL is dedicated to advancing digital payments in Nepal and expanding global connectivity through innovative financial solutions. Similarly, XUNO, led by Bal Krishna Joshi, is committed to transforming cross-border transactions and fostering an inclusive global economy through technology-driven financial services.
