Ncell Headquarters Vandalized Amid Gen Z Protests: Massive Losses Reported

Ncell filed a complaint with the Kathmandu District Police after its Lainchaur headquarters, Ncell Icon, was attacked during the Gen Z protests on September 9, 2025. Criminal groups, posing as protesters, vandalized the building, set fire to property, looted valuable assets, and threatened security personnel.

The attackers damaged offices across all ten floors, destroyed equipment, looted important documents, and set both company-owned and personal vehicles on fire. Ncell has urged authorities to arrest the culprits, investigate thoroughly, recover stolen property, and compensate the company. CCTV footage and an inventory of losses have been submitted to assist the investigation, with the full extent of damage still being assessed.
