NB Bank takes agro loan scheme to rural areas of Makwanpurgadi gaupalika; issue Kishan Credit cards to 25 rural farmers in first stage

Nepal Bangladesh Bank has handed over Kishan Credit cards to the designated farmers at Makwanpurgadi gaupalika of Makwanpur district.
The credit cards were handed over by the chair of Makwanpurgadi gaupalika Mr. Bidur Humagai amid a program on Asad 27, 2078 through which the bank expects to benefit 25 farmers in ward 3 of the gaupalika in the first stage.
With the new service, the bank will issue collateral-free loans to the farmers and issue QR enable credit cards to the farmers with a value equivalent to the loan amount so as to enable these farmers to engage in digital transactions, as per the media statement.
The bank currently has 99 branches, 8 extension counters, and 81 ATM outlets under its network.
