NB Bank steps in to promote entrepreneurship at local level; inks MoU with Sundar Haraicha Nagarpalika to extend subsidized credit facility beginning at just 3% to skillful manpower

Nepal Bangladesh Bank and Sundar Haraicha Nagarpalika have entered into an agreement to provide subsidized loans to the skilled residents belonging to the Nagarpalika.

The MoU was signed between Province I head of the bank Mr. Krishna Prashad Timsina and head of the Nagarpalika Mr. Shiva Prashad Dhakal amid a program.

Following this understanding, the bank will extend a subsidized credit facility to the skilful human resource up to Rs 15 lakhs to start enterprises of their own in the Nagarpalika vicinity after receiving a forwarded recommendation from the respective local unit, as per the media statement. the bank will also extend a similar credit scheme up to Rs 7 lakhs to the educated youths willing to set up their business. Both the loan schemes will be provided at a 4% annual interest rate for men while at 3% interest for women, as per the media statement.
