NB Bank in Jorpati

Nepal Bangladesh (NB) Bank, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, has opened a branch in Jorpati. It was inaugurated by Mohammad Lutfar Rahaman, chairman of the bank. According to the third quarter financial report, NB Bank has deposits worth Rs 23.52 billion and disbursed loans worth Rs 17.60 billion. Its non-performing loans stand at 1.80 per cent and its capital adequacy ratio is 11.51 per cent. The bank’s operating profit stands at Rs 580 million and net profit stands at Rs 401 million. It has also decided to provide 10 per cent bonus shares and 7.79 per cent cash dividend, which will be announced in the upcoming annual general meeting.
