NB Bank coordinates with its mother bank in Bangladesh for COVID response; to bring Rs 2.25 crore worth critical medical supply from Bangladesh to support Nepal fight against Coronavirus

Nepal Bangladesh Bank, under its CSR initiative, has begun a process to provide five thousand piece RENDESIVIR worth Rs 2.25 crore, a drug that is deemed quite critical in treating the COVID 19  patients.

The bank has arranged for such a critical supply of the medicine through a coordinated effort of its mother bank IFIC Bank in Bangladesh, as per the media statement.

The bank has already provided financial support of Rs 1.45 crore to the different tiers of government in Nepal to support their fight against COVID, as per the media statement.
