National Women's Football Team Honored by NIC Asia Bank for Stellar International Performance

NIC Asia Bank, a proponent of responsible banking, recently honored the Nepali national women's football team for their outstanding achievement as runners-up at the WAFF Women's Championship 2024 in Saudi Arabia.

At a special event held at Hotel Himalayan in Lalitpur, the bank recognized the team's contribution to national pride through their exemplary performance on the international stage.

Each of the 31 team members received Rs. 25,000 and a certificate. The team's goalkeeper, Anjana Rana Magar, was appointed as a brand promoter for the bank.

This recognition also marks the team's first participation and notable success in the tournament, for which the bank extended its best wishes for its future endeavors.
