National Life Insurance Company Celebrates 37th Anniversary

The National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) marked its 37th anniversary with various events, including a blood donation program at its head office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, involving over 50 employees. Additionally, the company conducted a program to provide food to 53 children and elderly ashrams nationwide and distributed white sticks to 123 blind individuals with the assistance of Disability Protection Nepal.

As a prominent life insurance company in Nepal, it reported positive business progress, maintaining a 55:45 ratio between the promoter group and the public group. The general meeting resulted in the approval of an 8% bonus shares and a 6.5% cash dividend for shareholders from the profits of the financial year 2078/079. The company's life insurance fund accumulated Rs. 71 billion, with a paid-up capital of 5.1 Arba rupees after the distribution of bonus shares.

The company, with over 100,000 agents, 117 branch offices, and 500 employees, affirmed its commitment to providing quality insurance services with professionalism, technology-friendly transparency, and reliability.
