National Hydro Power Company (NHPC) Postpones AGM

National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) has postponed its 24th AGM.

The AGM was supposed to be held on 27th Chaitra, 2077. However, the company has unveiled the postponement notice only today.

These were the agendas of the AGM:

a) Discuss and endorse the report for FY 2076/77.
b) Appointment of auditor for FY 2077/78 and approval of compensation.
c) Endorsement of the decision made by BOD regarding the corporate guarantee of loan taken by Lower Irkhuwa Hydropower Project.
d) Miscellaneous.

The book closure date was declared on Chaitra 13. Thus, investors maintained before that day can attend the AGM after it is rescheduled. For now, the meeting has been postponed till further notice.
