National heroes Kulman Ghising and Dr. Sanduk Ruit to receive Hem Bahadur Malla prize; valuable contribution for national good to receive one more acknowledgement

Nepal Public Relations Association and Salt Trading Corporation have decided to confer this year’s Hem Bahadur Malla prize to MD of Nepal Electricity Authority Mr. Kulman Ghising and popular ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit.

The prize comprises prize money of Rs 2 lakh and was established in the year 2059 in an honor of the former GM of Salt Trading Corporation Mr. Khem Bahadur Malla and is provided to national figures who make significant contribution for betterment of Nepal and Nepalese.

The prize was established to honor the contribution of former GM Mr. K Malla who served the national trading body for 25 long years. The prize has already been conferred to several renown national figures of Nepal like Mahabir Pun, Chadani Joshi, Kedar Bhakta Mathema, Suresh Raj Sharma, Dr. Bimal Koirala, Ambika Shrestha, Khilraj Regmi, Umesh Mainali, among many others.
