NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 Kicks Off at Bhrikutimandap
The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), has officially opened at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Ground in Kathmandu. The six day event, running from August 11 through August 16 (Shrawan 26 to 31 BS), marks Nepal's largest mobility showcase to date, featuring over 55 automotive brands across 51 stalls and serving as a major prelude to the upcoming festive buying season. Jointly inaugurated by Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki and NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya alongside trade federation representatives.
A major highlight of this year's expo is the unveiling of more than 40 new vehicle models across passenger, two wheeler, and commercial segments. The showcase features 29 four wheeler brands, 18 two wheeler brands, and several commercial vehicle lines, with high profile debuts including Chinese luxury EV maker Hongqi entering the Nepali market alongside new offerings from Arcfox, Wuling, BYD, MG, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, and Mahindra. Two wheeler enthusiasts can explore models from established and emerging brands such as Honda, TVS, Royal Enfield, Bajaj, Ather, Yadea, Ultraviolette, and Triumph. Electric vehicles take center stage throughout the venue, spanning a wide price spectrum from NPR 2 million to NPR 35 million equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems, smart connectivity, and fast charging capabilities.
To enhance visitor convenience, organizers have arranged digitally accessible ticketing via Khalti priced at NPR 200 for the general public and NPR 100 for students, dedicated vehicle parking at the nearby Nepal Police Club grounds, and exclusive festive booking deals including cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and flexible financing options.
