NAFIJ organizes interaction event to discuss recently hiked fuel charges; students leaders strongly denounces the move of NOC and demand for reversal of the decision

Nepalese Association of Financial Journalists (NAFIJ) has organized an interaction event to discuss the recent hike in the cost of petroleum fuel and cooking gas by the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).

Speaking in the event, all the students' leaders representing the students' unions from both ruling and opposition parties strongly denounced the latest move of the NOC and demanded to roll back the hiked price while the economists have suggested the government reduce the taxation on petroleum products and utilize the available fund to improve the infrastructure so as to encourage people to switch to the clean energy alternatives, as per the media statement.
