NADA Marks 50 Years with Grand 18th NADA Auto Show 2026
The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal is set to mark its 50th anniversary with the 18th NADA Auto Show 2026, scheduled for Bhadra 9–14 at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu. The six-day event will feature more than 200 stalls, including 23 passenger-vehicle brands, 17 commercial-vehicle brands, 13 two-wheeler brands, and around 70 companies dealing in auto parts, tyres, batteries, lubricants, charging infrastructure, and garage equipment. Ten banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies will also participate.

Over the past five decades, Nepal’s automobile sector has expanded significantly, with around 5.5 million registered vehicles and approximately NPR 470 billion worth of vehicle and related imports over the last five fiscal years, generating about NPR 351 billion in customs revenue. The country has also seen rapid growth in electric mobility, with around 63,000 EVs and nearly 2,000 charging stations. NADA says the Golden Jubilee edition will celebrate not only the association’s journey but also the automobile industry’s contribution to employment, government revenue, green mobility and Nepal’s broader economic development.
