Nabil to give 60% dividend

KATHMANDU, OCT 18:
Nabil Bank is extending 60 percent dividend, including 40 percent cash and 20 percent bonus shares, to its shareholders, according to a bank statement. The decision was approved by the 28th annual general meeting of the bank held in Kathmandu on Wednesday. Nabil, which has total assets of Rs 63.25 billion, generated net profit of Rs 1.7 billion last fiscal year ended July 15. Speaking on the occasion, Shambhu Prasad Poudyal, chairman of Nabil, said: "Nabil is at the summit of the banking sector today due mainly to its customer focused approach and better risk management system."
