Nabil bank denies role

Nabil Bank has denied the bank involvement in misappropreation of Indian currency. Issuing a press statement, the bank has said that recent news carried by various media about the transfer of large Indian currency amount by some trading companies through some commercial banks of Nepal against the fake documents has drawn our serious attention. Nabil Bank is not at all involved in these transactions and has not issued draft in Indian currency to the trading form mentioned in the newspaper, it said.
