Nabil Bank and Asian Net Company, Japan under agreement for remittance business

Nabil Bank has announced the remittance tie-up with Asian Net Company Limited, Japan. With this tie-up, Nepalese diaspora in Japan can remit money in their accounts maintained at Nabil Bank or any other banks and financial institutions within Nepal through Nabil Bank. With this arrangement Nabil Bank will provide secure, cheap and fastest remittance services to its customers from Japan. The agreement was signed by Mr. Anil K. Khanal, Chief Business Officer, Nabil Bank Limited and Ms. Higashida Shujen, President, Asian Net Company Limited amidst a function at Tokyo, Japan on 6 July 2018.

"We are very excited to expand our remittance network from Japan corridor and look forward to provide best/efficient remittance services to Nepali diaspora living in Japan. The remittance transactions processed through this arrangement shall be credited in real time for customers maintaining account with Nabil Bank and within 1 working day at others Banks within Nepal." said CEO of Nabil Bank, Mr. Anil Keshary Shah.

Nabil Bank is an only principal agent bank of Western Union in Nepal and has been contributing in the country’s economy by bringing good volume of FCY through inward remittance from different countries.
