Nabil Bank account can now be opened online

Nabil Bank Limited has come up with a scheme that allows you to open an account from anywhere — through online.

The leading commercial bank has also posted the application at its website, nabilbank.com, which can be instantly filled up.

"And you don’t have to attach the scanned copies of all mandatory documents such as your (latest) photo, passport or citizenship certificate and FYC earning certificate separately as it is part of the web application form,” bank officials told ShareSansar. “Once you have filled up the form, you just have to press the ‘submit’ button at the end.”

This facility not only makes the opening of bank account extremely convenient to the customers who are living in Nepal, but has also provides an opportunity to those living abroad to easily open a bank account from where they are.

Once the account is opened, the bank will duly notify the customer via their e-mails.

“The account will remain dormant until the account holder furnishes the original copies of mandatory documents at our branch they have chosen, besides depositing Rs 500 to activate the account” the Nabil official informed.

In case of those living abroad, they can courier the copies of the mandatory documents certified by the notary public or our embassy in the concerned country, they further informed.

As Nabil Bank has rightly stated, opening a bank account was never so easy.
