Nabil bags award

KATHMANDU:

Nabil Bank was recently honoured with ‘SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Award 2012 and SAARC Anniversary Award for Corporate Governance Disclosures 2012’ among private sector banks by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). Shambhu Prasad Poudel, director of Nabil received the award from S K Agrawal, president of SAFA, in a ceremony held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Nabil Bank has received SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Award for three years in a row. The awards under different categories are conferred on the basis of evaluation administered by SAFA’s Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability and Governance, comprising members from SAARC member countries.
