Muktinath Bikash Bank receives prestigious European Microfinance Award 2020 with cash prize of Euro 1 lakh; judged best among 70 institutions from 37 nations

Muktinath Bikash Bank has received European Microfinance Award 2020 which was declared at Luxemburg.

The leading development bank has secured the prestigious award for its exemplary financing work with rural households in Nepal who are economically weak.

MNBBL received this award among 70 different institutions representing 37 different nations of the world who are working in the micro banking sector to improve the economic condition of rural people. It has received a cash prize of Euro 1 lakh which it intends to conduct a range of programs to improve the access of rural households in digital banking, as per the media statement.

The development bank currently provides its services via 138 branches located in 42 districts of the nation where its 118 branches provide micro banking services, as per the media statement.
