Muktinath Bikas Bank inks agreement with Global IME Bank; customers of development bank to receive non-fund based banking services

Muktinath Bikas Bank and Global IME Bank have inked an agreement to provide non-fund-based banking services to the customers of the development bank under its recommendation.

Per the agreement, customers of Muktinath Bikas Bank can now enjoy letters of credit, bank guarantees, documents against payment, documents against acceptance, trade transaction banking, among other services.

The MoU was signed between CEO of Global IME bank Mr. Ratna Raj Bajracharya and CEO of the development bank Mr. Pradhyuman Pokharel amid a program, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its services to its customers from its 280 branches in 76 districts, 250  ATM terminals, 47 extension and revenue collection counters, 257 branchless banking units, and 3 foreign relations offices under its network.
