Muktinath Bikas Bank facilitates for establishment of Multipurpose Agro Cooperative

Muktinath Bikas Bank has facilitated for the establishment of Hupsekot Muktinath Multipurpose Agriculture Cooperative at Hupsekot gaupalika of Nawalparasi district under the leadership of local farmer Mr. Top Bahadur Sen.

The declaration was made amid an event that was also attended by the chairman of the bank Mr. Bharat Raj Dhakal, head of Hupsekkot gaupalika Ms. Laxmi Devi Pandey, ward chairs and other officials. Likewise, Muktinath Krishi Company also organized a literacy event for the local farmers which was facilitated by employees of the company Mr. Ram Saran Timalsina, Mr. Anuj Adhikari and Mr. Santosh Rokka from Muktinath Bikas Bank, as per the media statement.

Under the new arrangement, the cooperative will gather up the local farmers under one umbrella where Muktinath Bikas Bank will extend the subsidized agro loans and Muktinath Krishi Company will provide training and other materials needed for the agro production whereas the company will also bridge between the agro producers and the consumers in the cities thus completing the ecosystem of agro-business in the nation, as per the media statement.
