Mr. Rajan Singh Bhandari back to Citizens Bank; bank’s 13th AGM welcomes Mr. Bhandari as new chairman after successful stint as CEO

Citizens Bank has convened its 13^th AGM on Aswin 10, 2076 under the leadership of bank’s chairman Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma. The AGM has endorsed 12% cash dividend amounting to Rs 1 arba and 3% bonus shares amounting to Rs 25.11 crore to the shareholders from the profit it had made during the FY 2075-76 along with endorsing the financial reports for the given period.

The AGM has also unanimously elected Mr. Rajan Singh Bhandari, Mr. Prabal Jung Pandey and Mr. Sajan Sharma as BoDs from the promoters group while Ms. Sita Karki K.C. as BoD from the public shareholder’s group. Similarly, the 314^th board meet has also appointed Mr. Bhandari as the new chairperson of the bank.

The bank had collected deposit of Rs 74.13 arba, disbursed Rs 65.07 arba as loans, earned net profit of Rs 1.46 arba by the end of the previous FY.

The bank currently provides its services from 82 branches, 79 ATM terminals and 102 branchless banking units and serves around 4 lakh customers.
