Mountain Energy Nepal Holds 12th AGM, Approves 21.0526% Dividend

Mountain Energy Nepal Limited has successfully concluded its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu under the chairmanship of Chairman Pradeep Jung Pandey. The AGM approved the proposal to distribute a total dividend of 21.0526 percent from the profits of FY 2081/82, comprising 20 percent bonus shares and 1.0526 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.

The AGM also endorsed the annual report for FY 2081/82, along with the audited financial statements, including the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statement as of mid-July 2025. In addition, the meeting appointed an auditor for FY 2082/83 and authorized the Board of Directors to make necessary amendments to the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association. Currently, the company is generating electricity from the 42 MW Mistri Khola and 5 MW Tadi Khola projects, while construction of the 65 MW Dudhkola Hydropower Project is underway.
