More companies declare dividend

Three more companies today, proposed the dividend to its shareholders from the earning of the FY 2069/70.

Among the three companies, First Microfinance Development Bank Ltd. and Bagmati Development Bank Ltd have decided to distribute 15% and 7.37% cash dividend respectively whereas, Tinau Development Bank Ltd. has decided to distribute 12% bonus share.


The dividend proposal of respective companies has been passed from their respective BODs only. For the materialization of the decision, the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and from their upcoming AGM is must.

All three companies had a good performance during FY 2069/70. First Microfinance Development Bank Ltd had posted a net profit of Rs 17.15 million with EPS of Rs 17.15, net worth of Rs 123.19. In the prior fiscal year also, the company had distributed healthy return of 15.79% cash dividend to its shareholders. Currently, the company’s Last Traded Price (LTP) in secondary market stands at Rs 242.

Similarly, Bagmati Development Bank Ltd. had posted Rs 3.04 million with EPS of Rs 6.09 and net worth of Rs 109.08. LTP of the company’s scrip currently stands at Rs 104. After being listed in NEPSE in FY 2068/69, this is the first time the company proposed for dividend to its shareholders.

Likewise, Tinau Development Bank Ltd. had posted Rs 14.75 million with EPS of Rs 12.83 and net worth of Rs 131.11.In previous fiscal year also, the company had distributed 15% bonus share. As for the LTP of the company, it currently stands at Rs 127.
