More budget transfer?
KATHMANDU, June 10:
The Ministry of Finance is planning to transfer budget of one development region to another. The sum of Rs 60.7 million allocated for road development in the Far-West Development Region and an unknown amount allocated for Mid-West Development Region are being transferred to other regions, according to officials at MoPPW. “MoF did not provide additional budget for the projects that were undergoing construction, as it used to do in the past years, citing low revenue collection and government plans to rechannelise unused budget to energy bank,” they said.
