Modi pledges support of Rs. 250 mln for Pashupati's devt
KATHMANDU:
Visiting Prime Minster of India, Narendra Modi on Monday pledged a support of Rs 250 million for broader physical infrastructure development of the Pashupati area.
Member-Secretary at the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), Dr Govinda Tondon said the Indian Prime Minister's announcement of support would contribute to the development and promotion of the holy area.
Prior to his Nepal visit, the special guest Modi wrote on his tweeter account that it was his good fortune to get an opportunity to offer worship to the Pashupati Temple.
