Microfinance led sector backed NEPSE to end in green by 2.12 points; Total turnover stood Rs 1.08 arba

NEPSE witnesses 0.16% uptick and closes at 1,342.40, a meager 2.12 points above yesterday's close

This is a positive 0.16% uptick from yesterday's close. Overall 18.52 points volatility was witnessed in the trading today, wherein the highest level was 1352.69 and the lowest was 1334.17. 

A total of 3,733,505 shares were traded amounting to Rs. 1,088,716,118 in the turnover amount. 184 scrips were traded via 15,491 transactions.

Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) had the highest turnover of Rs. 107,250,000, closing at a market price of Rs. 130 per share. It is tailed by Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) in terms of total turnover with a figure of Rs. 102,812,349. Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share also had the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.



Float is up by 0.14 points and is currently at 93.81. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 282.23 after gaining 0.81 points from the previous close.

5 companies, namely NSEWA, NICLBSL, SAND2085, GLBSL, and SLBS hit a positive circuit today. On the other hand, Oriental Hotels Limited lost the most 6.13% while closing at Rs. 306 LTP.



8 sectors gained today while 4 others ended red. Microfinance gained the most 2.2% and Hotels lost the most 1.12%.
