MG Unveils Advanced Hybrid Car with Electric Turbo and SolidCore Battery
MG Motor is developing new hybrid cars with advanced technologies aimed at improving performance, that significantly reduce noise. The upcoming Hybrid+ system is being developed at MG’s engineering center in Frankfurt, Germany which features an electric turbo capable of up to 70,000 rpm and special motors that reduce noise and vibrations for a smoother driving experience. It may debut in the MG S9 plug-in hybrid car.
The company is also introducing a semi-solid-state called “SolidCore” battery in an upgraded version of the MG 4 electric hatchback in Europe. This battery offers higher energy density, faster charging, improved temperature performance, and enhanced safety compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries.
With these innovations, MG aims to produce it's future cars that are more powerful, smoother, quieter, safer, and more efficient than previous models.
