MetLife Nepal Partners with Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to Insure National Cricket Team Members

MetLife Nepal has announced a partnership with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to provide insurance coverage for all members of the National Cricket Team. Recognizing cricket's importance as a source of national pride, MetLife aims to offer comprehensive life insurance that ensures the players' protection and peace of mind.

The agreement, signed at MetLife's Head Office, includes tailored life and health insurance policies for both the Men's and Women's National Cricket teams, with benefits such as Rs. 10 lakhs for accidental death, Rs. 2 lakhs for accidental medical reimbursement, and Rs. 1 lakh for hospitalization coverage.

Paras Khadka, former captain and current Secretary of CAN, expressed confidence in the partnership, stating it assures players both on and off the field. Mr. Nirmal Kajee Shrestha, Vice President and General Manager of MetLife Nepal, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting national athletes and the well-being of communities through this collaboration.
