MetLife Nepal Expands Local Reach With Three New Agency Offices

MetLife Nepal has expanded its agency network by opening three new offices in Bardibas (Mahottari), Pathari (Morang), and Baglung, bringing insurance services closer to local communities. The move aims to improve access to personalized insurance guidance, timely service, and ongoing support for families and small businesses that previously had to rely on distant urban centers.

Beyond insurance access, the expansion is expected to create local employment, support careers in insurance, and strengthen financial literacy. MetLife Nepal General Manager Nirmal Kajee Shrestha said the new offices will help build community-level financial resilience by enabling people to make informed decisions and plan confidently for the future. The initiative supports inclusive growth and broader access to long-term financial security across Nepal.
